The University of Missouri-Columbia will present a panel of MU professors to discuss their views on the war with faculty, staff, and students.

Questions to be discussed include: Are civilian casualties acceptable? Is this a "just" war? Should the US alone preempt any enemy and try to remake the world? Can we carry on as usual?

The event is free and open to the public. Faculty will be available before and after the event for interviews.

Panelists include Professors John Kultgen, Sharon Welch, Don Sievert, Michael Ugarte, Clarence Lo, Victoria Johnson, Larry Brown, and Paul Wallace.

When: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 20, 2003

Where: General Classroom Building, Room 210
